Meet Dr. Richard Goding
Dr. Richard Goding is one of the nation’s leading surgeons in experience and research with techniques such as subchrondroplasty, superior capsular reconstruction and shoulder resurfacing. He is experienced in all types of cartilage restoration surgery for cartilage injuries, including athletic injuries. Additionally, he has experience with rapid recovery, quadriceps-sparing total knee replacements. Backed by a passion for exploring and developing restorative options, Dr. Goding provides minimally invasive, quality care.
He will soon publish his unique modification of the superior capsular reconstruction technique in a medical journal. He is currently producing leading research in the fields of joint preservation and farm and labor medicine through his role as the chief clinical coordinator of the Tissue Biomechanics Lab at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Goding is happy to bring his experience and offer these techniques to Iowa’s patients. Dr. Goding, together with his wife, Janet, and daughters, Sydney and Madison, are enthusiastic about their transition to Iowa and look forward to becoming involved in their new community.
To learn if you are a candidate for these techniques or explore treatment options for the shoulder and knee, including joint replacement, please call Dr. Richard Goding at 515-381-3410.
